Catalyst 8.520 Beta Drivers

The driver version is different to the Catalyst version, no idea why. Looking at the linked thread though these are pretty recent, 25/06, and are probably what will eventually become the 8.7 Cats.
 
I did and I'm crashing every time I enter 3d clocks. I thought it was an unstable clock but i set it back to stock and its still doing it.

Installing old 8.6 hotfix cats now

ATi churn out plenty of BETA's they just never happen to get leaked often at least. Normally there are about 3-4 beta releases before the final package goes to MS for WHQL.

Besides whats wrong with beta after beta :confused:

update. Reverted back to 8.6 hotfix drivers and voila it works.

My advice is that these are better left alone..thanks anyway to the OP though

Not really. Ive had more than my fair share of nvidia cards over the last 18 months, and i dont see why nvidia cant do what ati does and have a whql release every month.
