I was just wondering whether anyone had tried this?

I noticed it was released yesterday and thought that maybe it would have some improvements for Warhead and Clear Sky ..... but nooooooooo, my fps seems to be worse in both :confused:

Before i went to bed i played some TF2 and was horrified to discover that my once beautiful 100fps at 1920x1200 and all fx set to full, was now a very painful 20-30fps

So.... why would ATI release a driver that performs worse than the previous one :confused:

The majority of people, myself included are getting nice improvements with them.

Oh ok, sorry :/

Im gonna have to remove them its made Clear Sky and some other games pretty much unplayable

Try doing a complete driver sweep with driver cleaner in safe mode then reinstalling them. You might be having a software glitch if you installed on top of older drivers.

Clear Sky runs better on these than the 8.8's for me.

The sky flashes in Clear Sky using 8.9's, playing it for too long might cause me to have an eppy :eek:

I think something is wrong with my drivers or something as, well:

I installed AMD Overdrive and Riva Tuna earlier and in Overdrive and CCC its says my GPU clock is running at 507 and the memory 500, but in Rivatuner they say what they are supposed to be at - 750 & 900

Overdrive also says that gpu 1 running at 0Mhz but is 54 degrees :confused:

I've just uninstalled 8.9's and used Driver Sweeper and will try installing 8.9 again.
