Bought two Asus VH226H monitors recently and built a PC with some spare parts I had including a ATI X1950 Pro.
I installed the latest Catalyst 9.1 and full screen video noticably tears / flickers. I tried it with each monitor connected seperately as well as a dual monitor setup and the problem persisted regardless of the setup I used.
I connected another PC which I knew doesn't have any tearing / flickering issues on the 19" screen it was being used with. This PC has an ATI All-In-Wonder (X1300 based) graphics card with Catalyst 8.8 installed and the tearing / flickering doesn't occur on the new monitors either which ruled out the new monitors as being the problem.
Next I installed Catalyst 8.8 on the newly built PC with the old X1950 Pro and this time there is no tearing / flickering with full screen video!
Has anyone else experienced a fullscreen video tearing / flickering problem with Catalyst 9.1 or had it and fixed it?
