"As confirmed by the CatalystMaker himself, Terry Makedon on his Twitter page Radeon owners will be treated to the Catalyst 9.3 next week. Apparently set for a March 18 release, the new driver will mark the end of regular support for all cards older than the Radeon HD 2000 series and it will also be available in Windows 7 form for those testing out Microsoft's upcoming OS. Set your clocks, more Catalysts are coming up."

Completely forgot about this! Can't wait. Hopefully will fix the 3D clock problem with my second 4870X2 core :(

9.2 agp hotfix drivers seemed fine on my old XP machine, then I built a new PC for Windows 7 and my old AGP HIS, and 9.2 AGP hotfix dissappears from the ATI/AMD website.

wonder IF there will be AGP Hotfix 9.3 drivers for Windows 7?

What's more, ATI claims that their new Catalyst 9.3 graphics drivers are finally realizing the promise of Windows 7 to be more efficient than Windows Vista. Game performance, ATI says, is actually faster in Windows 7 than in Vista, as of Catalyst 9.3. You can read more about that in our examination of Vista vs. Win7 graphics performance.

9.3 are up on the ati website:)

Do they fix the 3D clock bug?

Afraid not.

So whats the deal? Any magical increases in performance?

Yep, huge list of performance improvements taken from the release notes :-

Lost Planet: Colonies gains up to 20% on 4800 series products, and up to 50% on 4600, 4500 and 4300 series products.
