So what exactly does it do? I notice if its disabled my crossfire is disabled..

What about advanced over standard? Should we ATI owners have it on advanced by default..

If i have it enabled, i am having problems with F1 2010, if i disable it, the crossfire isnt showing, so i'm assuming i'm not using xfire.

It's driver based optimisations for games, bug fixes, performance increases/optimisation and so on. How does F1 2010 behave with it on advanced?

Hmmm, just installed hotfix 10.10e and now the option to disable Catalyst AI is gone.

It's now called Catalyst A.I: Texture Filtering Quality

And I can either choose, High Quality, Quality or Performance..

Eitherway, my textures are no longer flashing. But it doesn't look like I'm able to disable it now.

At least it's fixed :p. I think they've moved around the way things work with 10.10 so the Cat AI doesn't adjust the driver optimisations in the same way, maybe that's what the check-box is for, the "enable surface format optimisation" one.
