Catalyst Control Centre Slow to start

Hiya guys,

Recently installed the latest AMD 14.4 WHQL drivers but after finding that using these my card would throttle down to around 500mhz, even when the powerlimit was up full and temps were fine i decided to uninstall and go back to the 14.4Beta.

Since doing so it seems that CCC takes forever to load on start up, sometimes as long as five minutes.

I've uninstalled using DDU and resinstalled to no avail, the problem persists.

Anyone came across this before?

Probably a long shot but somtimes Anti-virus programs can cause this after updates etc , add the exe as an excluded program in the anti-virus settings, i need to do this for my Roccat software or it can take up to 5 mins to load or do anything.

Tbh bud i don't use any Anti Virus software, just extremely careful on where i browse and what details i use etc.
All i use is windows defender if anything, would that cause any problems?

Then yes, 8.1 has built in anti-virus , should be in the settings somwhere , i'll have a look on my lappy

Cheers for the help Darket, unfortunately the problem is still there

Going to try uninstalling all AMD drivers again and Afterburner, start from scratch and see if that helps.
