catalyst overdrive problem

thought something was funny today when i tried to play TDU and it felt the fps had dropped. so went into CCC and took a look at the settings in overdrive tab and was greeted with this:

whats going on here? i don;t even know how to begin to say whats wrong with that

it happeneds to me now & then.Sometimes just closing CCC & reopening fixes it.

just uninstalled all the old drivers and the install manager, rebooted and installed 7.8 driver again and its working now.

very odd that.

Do you use driver cleaner when you take your old drivers off cyber?

It would have most likely been that one of the two ATI services had failed to start.

nop, since cats 7.3 on vista to 7.6 all i did was the update option in the ati driver manager, then i skipped 7.7 and went to 7.8 and that was a update too.

now iv just uninstalled everything to do with ati drivers even the catalyst install manager and fresh installed the 7.8 driver. very odd how this problem happened. its sorted now though. but ill keep my eye on it
