I was under the impression that they're tweaked so the crossfire gives better performance :)

I also found installing the Crossfire profiles stopped my Bad Company 2 from Crashing (Asus 5770 Crossfire here)
 
Are these meant to replace having to release hotfix drivers? I presume all these fixes will be included in the next official release?

I too thought the Catalyst Application Profiles where only for crossfire users, but supposedly from what I read on rage 3d, they are also for single card users too!

If you ask me it just confuses the consumer. I have no idea if the profiles are included when you install the display driver or not?
