Hi, i plan to run about 4 cathode lights around my desk via external power 12v dc converter which plugs into a standard socket, firstly any Uk supplier that sells these. Also lights are connected via molex. Obviously converter will have one connection not 2/4 so is there a expander on the Market in the Uk. Have seen many ideal products in the states....

Cheers Andy :)

Farnell and "some other company" are a good source of power suppplies, you might need to put a molex on the end though.

USB to IDE kits usually come with a 12 supply with molex on.

Edit: oops, didn't realise they were considered a competitor

Ive done this, currently have four blue CC's running in my main entertainment unit, forget the molex connection, cut the plugs, strip and solder the wire (or twist/use termial block connectors), attach a cheap 12v 1.5a (or higher) power supply and job done! :)
