I can still remember one of our cats tried standing on the bubbles in the bath. Needless to say she never tried that again.

I've never heard that bathing cats is bad for them and I've been a regular reader of several cat forums for almost 3 years. If anything it's bad for the person trying to bathe them - my cat has only bitten people twice, both times when she got messy and had to be washed
