As someone who cannot understand the attraction of animals i'd take the same view as Blueboy2001, although i wouldnt hurt it i would be finding out who the keepers of the animal was and get quite arsey with them if it kept happening. I cant stop others from keeping animals in their house, but i do not expect the vermin to come onto my property whether they know what they are doing or not. I suppose it would lead to a bit of a stalemate as the owners cant do a lot to stop them

Good idea with the dog though
I'm pretty sure the law says the owners are responsible for any damage beyond their borders so you could take up and real damage with them.

Where did I say I'd kick it to death?
Obviously I wouldn't kick kids to death, but if kids were on my property I would remove them, using an amount of force I felt appropriate to the situation. The kids would know I'm not to be messed with and would not come back. If cats are as intelligent as their owners make out, having had bad experience they wouldn't come back.
