CATV Compatibility on lcd TV's

As title really just bought a new TV and it says it has "CATV Compatibility"
Whats uses does this have anything interesting tried google but it doesn't seem to help

It may mean that the inbuilt tuner will accept up to 125 channels via an analogue cable tv service.

Or in other words, useless in this country.
