caught out by speed camera

quick question. If your speeding and see a camera, and your in say the left lane of a dual carriage way, if u keep switching lanes can you still get caught? Because it will see what speed you go in one lane, but then your in other lane. Just a story i heard while in a taxi wondered if its true

So not only are you going to be speeding through a camera, your also going to be swerving from lane to lane. Can see how that would be nice and safe

I think someone is confusing Gatsos with SPECS. It's true for SPECS, but not Gatsos.

Perhaps my car was stolen.
Realistically im probably gonna pay it, still makes me sick though 48mph in a 40 in perfect driving conditions.
Just one of those things though I'm afraid. The road to work is perfectly safe to be a NSL but its a 50 BUT it has a mobile camera site on it. Only ever seen a camera twice since 1st August but I don't take the risk and just sit at 50. Shame because its a nice bit of roadRSH said:

Yup, its just another place where I will now stick to the speed limit (most of the time) lucky really, a few weeks back down the road a bit from where I was caught, I was going a lot faster and I got a golf clap from a policman with a laser, I just laughed at him.
Nothing came of that though, perhaps he didnt get a reading, do they work in the dark?

Not sure what road it was but it was a dual carrigeway and the left lane was lines off with cones etc as they were working on it. The speed has been temporarily reduced to 40mph. I went through it on the right hand lane doing 55mph.
Been fined before by accidentally going down a bus only road in peterborough but i didnt get any points.

Where abouts do you mean? I assume that you would have gone back to Kings-Lynne via the A52 and Grantham? I know the area you are referring to, it is between the Nottingham Knight and Wheatcroft Islands - Traffic cones are everywhere at the moment. I drive there every day to get to and from work, and have not seen any speed cameras there....
