Going through this phase of playing games, getting so far and then becoming bored of it and leaving it and not having the will to carry it on.

Anyone else ever get that feeling?

Just got it with Risen, Trine, Gothic 3 and many others.

Is it because i lack willpower or games are becoming boring?

Probably because you haven't found a game that you love mate
I am the same. I have a massive HDD now so that I can have several (I think 25) installed. This means I can keep going into one after another. Last game I completed was Dead Space. I am currently playing Far Cry 2, GTA4, HL2 Ep 2, GRID and NSF:Shift

I should play more and stop watching films on my quite powerful PC lol

Haha. I do exactly the same mate! Currently on Far Cry 2, NFS: Shift and GTA 4. Just completed Batman on normal, so going to play it on hard once I get my 1TB Caviar Black =D

I usually play all the single player parts of games until I am finished if the game grabs me and the controls are easy to master. I am struggling with OF : Dragon rising and stormrise regarding controls. Not that keen on commanding other units.

So yes, play through single player unless the interface is awful!

I have been in this "phase" for years now. I just play a new game and when i quit i just dont revisit it i duno why as sometimes the game was good but i just think meh cba.

about a year ago I started trying to play games and do everything in it and making sure I didn't complete a game in any rush, after about 9 months of doing this and not completing several games I just couldn't be bothered as I was not wanting to complete them :D.

I force myself now just in case it gets any better.

Fallout 3 was a prime example but I loved it!

Last game I completed was Bioshock (last week), before that FEAR 1 (2005), before that HL2 (2004). Had games 'grip' me between those, but not for long. Oblivion was the most weird of them all. Had 97 hours on that game and was still loving it. Was playing it one day, paused to go get something downstairs. Came back up and suddenly felt bored of it. Really came out of nowhere. I was just over it suddenly.

That's usually how things happens with me - I'm fully into some game and suddenly I switch off

Had that happen twice with Crysis but again Oblivion was the most abrupt cut-off. I was pretty heavily involved with that game (few characters with >200Hr played each and was/am a member of quite a few of the bigger Modding teams (FCOM and MMM) but one day I woke up launched the game played 5 minutes of it , decided I was repeating myself and just stopped playing it

RPGs are the only games I normally complete through to the end, and I take it too far on those - one playthrough to check it all out, a second with a guide to see what I missed. I came very close with DoW II, just the last mission waiting for me - but I wanted the terminator armours, and I got infuriated with the ridiculous difficulty of the mission bosses. Repeated the same missions for about 6 hours, had a hissy fit and never played it since.

I got to that point about 20 mins into Elven Legacy.

Experiencing the same. Recently tried 4 games and they are sitting idle on my HD. Luckily these were bought at budget prices.

Fallout 3 - Ended up using cheats just to complete it. Seems I no longer care for these open world games post Daggerfall.

Mass Effect - Got as far as leaving Citadel station not returned to continue.

Fable - Arrived at a town after leaving the training area. Killed a gate guard then as soon as I entered the town I was bored.

Warhammer: Mark of Chaos - Didn't play past the first mission

Die by the Sword - Enjoyed the game, but not returned to it.

Only recent game that kept me enthralled was Deadspace. There also the MMO's but I don't fancy returning to any.
