Hey guys
As you are all fairly smart chaps I wonder if someone has any ideas abut an issue that has developed on my 08 CBR.
Pulled up to some traffic lights and was changing down from 4th to 3rd and the gearbox wouldn't select 3rd gear. Pulled it to the side of the road and managed to get it to select the gear by letting the clutch go and it popped into gear. This is now happening on all the gears but not every change. 1 - 3 seem to be fine most of the time but 3 - 6 have this issue more that 1 - 3.
The chain was a bit slack to adjusted that, problem still there. Gear lever assembly was cleaned from the lever to the engine and lubricated, problem still there. Clutch cable adjusted, no change. Before I take it to a mechanic is there anything you can suggest?
