Think DAS has been stopped? Or if its not it is very soon and the courses will be full...?
CBT for me was £80 in about 2001/2002.
DAS - My local place do free winter retests if you fail first time and the cost can be between £500-800 for a week course +
My advice, do your CBT and ride around on a 125cc for a while and establish yourself with some decent winter gear. Whilse doing so, get some one on one lessons in to get a feel for the bigger bikes and talk to the instuctors on whats the best route for you.

I can see the sense in that. In fact, now I have investigated insurance costs, it seems to me I should just get a CG125 ASAP so that I can get one years NCB under my belt and thus not have to pay loads then for a 600cc which I will later get.
I assume there is no difference between a years NCB on CBT and a years NCB on a full license?
