I have just got back from my CBT and thoroughly enjoyed the day.The instructors were laid back and cool and biking around with the earpiece in was a great fun. With praise when I did something right..my confidence really grew.

Just need the Bike now:cool:

Great stuff, summer fun for you.

Now to venture into the minefield of used 125's that are on offer :)

If your big and heavy, get a honda varadero 125, if you think you want something 'sporty' ... baring in mind it'll stiill be relativley slow, then get a honda cbr 125...

If you want something for a bit of all round jolly good cheap fun, get an honda XR125...

Can you tell I'm a honda man? :p

Looking for one of these for around £1200-£1500

i'm in the same boat: i.e. looking to buy a 125. Was hoping to take DAS, but work is moving soon and I need transport asap, so thought I'd get a 125 as a stop gap. Whats made you choose a VanVan?

If it's a stop gap then I'd recommend a Honda CG125 or a Yamaha YBR125. Whilst not overly flashy they are solid, reliable and there's always a market for them because of their popularity with learners.

I am very disappointed with the op he has just only past his test and has the name easyrider for years wtf.. :D

Well done m8 welcome to the fold.

I had a shot on a Vanvan at the weekend, nothing wrong with it and a bit sluggish compared with my CBF125 also a bit more put put but its what you expect from a 125. This Vanvan was 6 months old and had rust already on the front forks after 1500 miles.
