CBT Nuggets

Thought I'd put this in here for relevance.

Has anybody used/purchased CBT Nugget package at all? I'm looking at a month subscription but at £125 its quite expensive.

Any opinions?

Using their vids for Exchange 2010 at the moment. They are pretty good, as long as you can keep up with the fast talking and sometimes slightly annoying voices! Be worth finding somebody else looking for training material and splitting the cost if you can!

That's kind of what I was thinking. I only want it for a select few courses at the moment but £125 is a lot.

They possibly might, the training budget isn't used much. I think I'll have to try and force their hand to be honest =/

My work bought a Nugget server so we have every single video they do. I think the videos are great (CCNA ones I'm going through) and its very handy way of helping cram some knowledge into your head.

£24k on one? That's pretty damned good to be honest.... I feel jealous

Yeah I think it was pretty pricey, but everyone in IT uses it to train various things.

I totally agree. Due to my companies line of work everybody bar HR and Finance would be able to use it. It's just a large amount of money

Might have to look at going halves with somebody I guess

I have a yearly streaming enterprise subscription through work. Overall I have been very impressed with the CBT presentations.

This is the thing, I have been through a copy of the old CCNP but of course it's on the new syllabus now and it would be handy for an update, along with the CCNP-S stuff and other vendor videos.

Some of the guys at work would probably like the Microsoft stuff and the quality of the stuff I have seen makes me really want to go for it. I'd pay for a month sub for example but it would suck only having access to the video for 30 days and I like to watch it a few times and don't fancy doing some dodgy screen record to rip it off...
