CBT on Sunday. Tips please!

Thanks guys. I passed it! Although in the first part of the day I didn't think I was going to be able to do it. I was a bit slow a picking things up on the training ground but I was a bit nervous. The other lads there were in front of me.

But the instructor was superb, he stayed with me and explained everything to me. I completed all the training ground elements then I went onto the road. The road part for me was the mosy enjoyable and I thought it was great!

I was confident on the roads, the only fault I had was on some corners I was going a bit wide but that's something I'll get sorted once I get my bike. I just need to buy it now.

So yeah, all in all, I passed and it was a fantastic day.

Cheers guys

Oh yeah I forgot to mention I was on a scooter that had audible indicators. I thought that was awesome and it was a big help. I hope the scooter I buy will have them lol :D.

Congrats!!!. Excellent, as already said, this is only the start so keep your eyes open and stay safe m8. ;)

So what plans are next, 2 wheel wise?.

I'm only after a 125CC scooter. I don't want a geared really.

I'm not sure what to look for to be honest, I'm just waiting for something local and cheap to come up.

Glad things worked out well for you. Keep your wits about you, just the other day I saw the aftermath of a scooter get hit by a car. It didn't appear to be the scooter rider's fault but it was still pretty bad. Assume every car driver hasn't seen you and you'll go a long way.

Yeah I was pretty observant today and I need to keep like that. I'm just not going to be like a few of the other bikers out there that break the speed limit everywhere and then get hurt doing so. No wonder cars don't see them when they travel so fast.

My RSV's got audible indicators! Not very loud though, you can't hear them when you're going along which sort of defeats the object if you ask me :/

LOL, was going to say but you beat me to it m8. Kinda defeats the purpose having audible indicators on a thumping V-Twin like a Mille. :p

I only noticed for the first time several weeks into ownership when I got off to open the garage door and one of my blinkers was still on! I think the engine might even have been off :D
