CBT Passed, buying a SORN YBR.

Afternoon all,

I passed my CBT on the 19th and it went amazingly well, instructor mentioned I have a natural flare for riding

I'm close to purchasing a YBR125 '12 that's only done 3,290 miles and well looked after. However the bike is SORN and I intend to ride it back same day I view it before I buy it.

I understand that I'll need a V5C document to get the bike taxed and soon as I can update the V5C so that I'm the new registered keeper?

Could this be done simply online aslong as I had the documents before I view the bike?

Yep get the number off the new keeper slip and you can tax it online/over the phone in about 5 minutes.

As above, tax it online before you ride away, it's a 5 minute job. SORN or whatever tax that the bike currently has ends once it's sold.
