Had some issues with ati drivers (havent we all) just wondering if i can run without ccc and just use the driver that windows 7 64 installed auto? tryed 9.12 and 10.1, my gpu is an sapphire hd5850. So will my gpu run fine without ccc? not realy going to oc or change from default settings anyway. Thanks:)
 
Yeah it should work. All I think it needs is atiedxx.exe and atiesrxx.exe running, as I'm pretty sure that's what downclocks the gpu when on desktop, but that gets installed with the just driver package.
 
It will work fine. As long as you just need to access basic functions then you don't need the bloated CCC
