Got 2 6950s in CF flashed with the modded asus bios, and within windows 7 using afterburner or CCC I can up the clocks no problem and they stick. However, I stuck in an old sata hard drive I had to try out some classic 3dmark using windows xp, and came across a strange problem. Not only would any clocks I tried to set in afterburner not stick but the my CCC limits are very low and can only get 840/1325.

Any ideas? I'm using the latest beta afterburner with the modded .cfg file to enable full overclocking.
