ive had an ongoing tdr problem for a while now, and someone suggested uninstalling or disabling ccc, im wondering that if i do this, will i not be able to run my 2x 3870,s in crossfire mode or is there another way other than using ccc to do this

Have you tried ATi Tray Tools, i think that was to have Crossifre support at some point, as it was only by having the CCC you could get it.
