how can i extend the cable attached to my ccfl's because they are too short to reach to the inverter also what is the best way to attach them to my case?

thanks

I wouldn't.
I tried extending mine when I had them, and it did not work at all. Light was uneven, dimmer and that was only an extra 4 inches!
As for sticking them down, I found these exellent products called Glue Dots. You can buy them at asda, or probably any stationery store. Pound a pack, get the permanent ones. Pritt make them.

I have a box of 4000 here on a big reel, I liked them that much (They are called Billy Blobs :D)

You can buy the corrrect high volage cable that won't affect the brightness. Not sure where from in the UK but I bought mine when in the US from xoxide.

I used velcro pads way back in the day for cathodes. But LEDs are far superior, last longer, give a better colour and are less fragile. They don't have to be expensive if you are have access to a soldering iron and shop around

ive looked around and found some LED one's but the ends have 2 bare wires, so does anyone no how you would connect these for the pc or is it better to get ones specifically for a pc.

You'll need to mod something to connect to a molex. If you aren't comfortable doing this then premade stuff would be the better bet, but you pay for the convenience.

As you have the cathodes use them, and see if the results are any good. It would be easier to get molex extenders rather than extending the cathode wires so you can get them where you want them

Something like that might help

tried the ccfl's and there ok but they was more towards a white/blue than blue and the velcro well they are rubbish, they come unstuck by the next morning so going to buy some LED strips when i can find the right length.

Here are the only ones overclockers do, Phobya make some nice ones in lengths of 30/60/120/240/500cm but u will have to google "Phobya LED-Flexlight HighDensity"

yeah was looking at these (the one's you linked) but i would need to buy 4 of them for my case and i dont really want to use 4 molex plugs just for these, would rather have just one to go round the case and use one molex plus less wires or do you think 2 would be enough? or 2 of the Phobya LED-Flexlight HighDensity ones? as never used either

U mean the Xebec ones ? if so just get the 240cm Phobya ones.
Edit: I use a 120cm UV strip in my case running up one side accross the top and down the other behind the side window and it's more than bright enough.

looking at the phobya ones they look good but for the 240cm RGB they're a bit expensive but going to see if i can find them cheaper
