What sort of time scale are you looking to study over? The open university do a CCNA course going from feb to oct 2009, covers the whole CCNA subject (not just the minimum needed to pass the exam), and it has day schools where you can get some hands on experience with some decent kit.

If you are looking for something quick though, i dont have any suggestions.

Well with the OU you can study whenever you want, as long as you get the assignments in on time, and go to the day schools (there is only like 4 or 5 days in total throughout the course). The 2009 course is comming close to its registration deadline though, 17th dec, so it might not even be an option for you.

I'm doing mine at Bermondsy, so nice and close for you, although you might be a bit late to start this year. The teacher we have is good although he expects you to put the work in. I guess you could do the study yourself as some do, but going for a course means that your guaranteed to cover everything and you are tested all the way through, so if you do not get something, you know it and can go over it again.

thanks a lot can any of you give me links to sites etc.. so i can see where to go/apply etc.. 177th might not be to bad, not doing anything over the coming months apart from college so will see :D

I'm doing mine the second time over @ southwark college. Takes a school year but they offer it 9-1 on fridays or saturdays so you can do it and still work, as I do.
Though in my opinion the new v4 syllabus is crap compared to the 3.1 I did originally but it's still fairly accurate. Way more up to spec than most of the CompTIA stuff which seems to work on a 5 year technology lag :/
