Evening all

Got the chance to do this subject as part of my main course for free.

Just wondering if it is worth it, and of any value in the industry.?

It has value but only with experience. Could be a way in to a company though.

The certification is quite common now so not realy worth much in itself. If you dont have a lot of networking knowledge though the CCNA curiculum covers a great deal so can still be worthwhile taking.

Hmmm might as well just do it as its free

Get the option to do the CCNP next year if all goes well this year

Go for it, there's no reason not too and any extra qualificaion under your belt can help.

Definitely do it, I'm looking to do my CCNA soon as it's really fundamental to my company

If you can do it for free then i think it would be silly not to!

Sure its not thw worlds best qualification, but it will show you have a decent enough understanding of networking and can setup cisco gear, wich is always a usefull skill.
