CCTV and ipad iphone

plenty of free apps appear on itunes most seem to crash or just dont work.

im after something that works for viewing ip based system on ipad or itunes actually even a macbook as safari/firefox/opera dont appear to work at all or very well viewing web based cctv setups
the dedicated micros software is 30 quid on itunes dont really want to spend that and find its rubbish like most of the others its mainly web viewer im after
its just silly to have to keep using logmein then remotely log to pc to view cctv..

any people use it on regualr basis with any input

The problem is that most of the time the CCTV protocols used are proprietary to prevent people from competitors writing software to do a better job...

In short it's possible - I've written a stereoscopic robot application for the iPhone before.
