cctv camera help

Hi

I hope its ok posting it in here as its to do with car parking , basically some low-life scum thought it would be a good idea to mark our car and another car parked in the street with a permanent marker down the side.

Luckily it came off with some alcohol based cleaner , anyway I'm thinking about getting some sort of cctv spy camera device to monitor the area when parked there , is there anything cheap that does a good job

it must be able to record and have night vision and be discreet.

Any suggestions?

What do you class as cheap? Anything under £100 is not going to be worth much at all at night unless the cars less than 5 meters from your house.

Using a dash cam running off the USB power to keep an eye on the cars and it has already caught a someone reversing into a neighbours car then driving off. It was used in the insurance claim and the person that drove off couldn't dispute it. The below clip is when the council smashed my rear window with their strimmer, the highways department have admitted liability for this as well. Only downside to this one is the night vision as it doesn't have it but next doors security light is it's substitute.
