I currently have a couple of IPcams, originally for keeping an eye on the dog when at work but I'm getting more paranoid so really want a better recording solution as these only dump image files and it gets a bit messy.
We recently purchased some vivatech cams and a synology nas combo at work but it's a bit too expensive for home.
Any suggestions on the cheapest/best way of achieving this? Is there any decent freeware/cheap cam software I can run on Windows/Nix to record video from my existing cams?
