I guess this is the closest place to start this thread so here goes.
I'm looking at investing in some CCTV. I don't have much criteria but it has to be affordable. I have found a system for £200 and it is 'hi res' (not too sure whether to believe or not) with 2 external cameras and 500gb of storage. IR low light recording and motion detection. Also it has remove viewing.
Really I'm just after suggestions of what to get really and ideally I can get personal opinions and ratings on the systems that people use.
One thing it definitely needs is to be clear and good quality video as crime rates in the area have gone up substantially as of late and i want to catch anyone who attempts to rob me
Also the motion detection recording seems standard on these types of system but ideally that would be nice too.
I want to spend as little as possible but I would say a max budget of £250
