CD drives wont eject

Just swapped my pc from one case into a larger one and have developed a problem. The CD drives will not open, the cd button doesnt work, eject in the menu doesn't work, it doesn't work before windows begins starting, devices recognised in bios and by windows.

Any ideas.

Is the power connector in properly?

My dvd drive did the same so took the out the power cable and put it back and it worked. If it doesn't for you I think you may have a borked one.

2 drives involved here both suddenly not working, very odd.

Very strange indeed, if you're psu is modular is it plugged in correctly?

I can't think of anything else.

it is modular and connectors in tight, windows see's them both and the game in the drive works, Ive no cd burning software on that might lock the drive either
