Can anyone recommend and CD and DVD burning software?

Or does anyone have any ideas relating to the following problem?

I do have Nero Express 6 but its decided to play up after a fresh install. It says "Burn Completed At..." but in fact the CD or DVD is still blank.

Thanks

I have used a lot of dvd burning software and a lot of people off his forum recommended I use (Copy X to Dvd) for burning dvd's and I have to say it burns dvd's quicker and In high quality, You can even fit 2 700mb films on one disc without the quality being hammered. It is the best dvd burning software I have used and I tried a lot of different one's. :)

Got to agree here, tried a few myself and i always go back to using Copy X to DVD.

ok smart ****.... :p

what's the point of using imgburn when infrarecorder seems to be able do everything within one app? tis a genuine question. i've just installed infrarecorder and it looks quite good. :)

InfraRecorder does not handle disk images as well as IMGBurn, hence install both. ;)

like what? give me an example. from what i can see, infrarecorder can burn and build images. what's the difference? :)

From using IMGBurn for quite sometime I have found it is the best bit of software to read/write images....this is a purely personal opinion, so if you find InfraRecorder handles the reading/writing of your images the way you wish...excellent!

The above opinion is based upon what I have found and nothing else, so I will continue to recommend IMGBurn for images in preference to InfraRecorder. :)

ok. i haven't even used infrarecorder. i've only just installed it and looked through the options.... :p

i also like imgburn and have no real reason to use infrarecorder because i never burn audio cds. :)

just seems a little odd recommending two apps when it would appear that just the one is good enough for most purposes.

Yeah, done the same. IMGBurn was fine for me, i found the UI could be a little better though. Not used infrarecorder yet, but im happy with IMGBurn for now. :D

imgburn has a super fast quick erase, which is dead handy on dvdrw or cdrw discs

plus it's a lot more mature than infrarecorder (although i do use this), on some drives infrarecorder just doen't work
