Getting the above message trying to run a few EA Games from the CD and am getting this coming up.

Are there any programs or tools I can use to completly wipe my hard drive from these emulation tools so that I can play my EA Games as normal?

I do know that you are not allowed to discuss copy protection etc, which is why I was very careful how I worded this as I didnt want it to be taken in the wrong way.

Yes, I used to have Alcahol 120% & Daemon Tools, but after that message I deleted them both, but still the message has come up when I try to play the games. Surely I dont have to resort to wiping the hard drive and re-installing everything from scratch?

Surely it wouldnt be against the forum rules for mentioning a solution that does not break any of the forum rules, as we are not mentioning anything illegal.

Anything would be better than spending an entire weekend re-installing Windows XP and everything else I have to (hopefully) then get rid of any of these error messages.

Any software would be helpful that could detect? and remove any virtual drive software I do not need so that I can continue buying EA Games and then playing them without any more messages coming up :(

I dont suppose that I could e-mail you privately for the link could I? Then we wouldnt be breaking forum rules, and would help me if I get this message come back in the future to know what to do, because other than reformatting my hard drive each time I dont have a clue :(

It is all the Sims 2 generation of games. they used to all work without a problem, until I installed Alcohol & Daemon Tools, deleted both of those programs, and can now not play them anymore. I have used PC Tools 2006 and registry mechanic that have picked up some entries, but still the error message comes up, which is really confusing as im at a loss what to do next
