I was in born in 1990 and i'm a girl. The main console i played growing up was my CD-I, Does anyone else remember these? They were probably one of the the worst advertised consoles ever and was obliterated by playstation etc in the early nineties.
I constantly quote the games but no one ever knows what i'm talking about :(

Any memories of this antiquity console??

Yeah I remember it The Phillips CDi.. hats off to you for actually admitting using one..

Yep they were THAT BAD...

I had one - although only because there were large discount vouchers floating about not long after launch.

It was only ever really worth getting to play Video CD's as all the games were pretty much crap.

Dont even know what happened to mine.

It was awful that's why it was obliterated.

3DO on the other hand was more interesting.

Hotel Mario! :D

My dad had one of these and i got a few games for it. Nothing amazing though. Titles that stand out in my head are Burn Cycle, Chaos Control, Dragons Lair, Lost Eden and Space Ace. Most of the games were terrible but i remember having a lot of fun with Lost Eden. That was pretty good.

Apparently the majority of the games that featured Nintendo characters were regarded as very much weak links in their respective series'. :)

And nintendo doing a deal with philips (and ditching their SNES CD addon deal with sony) was the reason the playstation came into being.

i had one ... was about £125 quid with all the video decoding chucked in at the time .. bought before i had a playstation 1 ..... was pretty impressed with it at the time tbh . had some games and movie chucked in for free as well ... rember having clear and presnt danger and star trek 2 :) and it also had flashback on it...which was awesome
