CD Locking

Hi all,
My niece has recently performed at a show. A photographer was present and is now selling a CD full of the pictures. However he has said the disc is locked, which I presume means that I cannot copy the pictures from the disc?
Well there must be a way to get pictures of this disc? A way to maybe get passed the password or whatever lock he has on it.
You have to pay for the disc so I should be allowed to get the pictures I'm paying for?
If anyon knows of a way to get around something like this then please let me know.

P.s not sure if this in in the right area as it hardware an software based? Feel free to move to correct place.

If there's data on a CD, you can get it off said CD.

Easy way

I assume you can view the photos? if so, make it full screen then hit Print Screen.

There is most likely an easy way to take the photos off the disk, although this is the easiest quick way to just get the pictures
