Hi, my car is green and after looking around on the web, I found this:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/...mb=31265-31371&varient=&CarSelectorCatalogId=

I really like the look of the Fuzion equipment, really funky and different.

I thought it would be good to get it from Halfords too because they can fit it for a tenner and I'm aware I would need an adapter for my car power leads etc. so don't want to mess it up and if anything goes wrong I can get it swapped.

I have no idea how it functions in comparison to similar products from different brands in the same price range.

Is this ok?

When I get more money I would also like to add:

http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/...65-31371-31396&varient=&CarSelectorCatalogId=

2 of them for the back shelf, 300w speakers, would they be loud?

AND

Subwoofer for the boot, need some phat bass of course. Is that a good sub? It looks good but I don't know nowt about these things.

I also know a lot of people buy amps, but what exactly are they and what do they do? Would I need one? thanks for any advice.

K first of all, aren't 6x9's the biggest size and therefore loudest/best speakers available? and why would they be a problem with a sub, cause subs are just for bass?

What do amps do?

Saitrix that headunit does look sexy, it's green as well (green ***) but I would be worried about wiring it up myself, and I know I need some sort of power lead converter for my car to work with the new stereos.

I see, so are amps hard to install, wiring them directly to the battery and all?

Also how do they amplify the sound of the speakers, more than the headunit? Would that not damage the speakers??

Sorry for all the questions I really know nothing.

I got a *cough*sdfsdfjsdfnissansjdjfdsjfmicraajsdjsdj*cough*

2000 W Reg Nissan Micra 1.0

*hangs head in shame*

But it's a good runner, mint condition, reliable and it's a first car aint it, not gonna be a lexus. I'm not gonna bother kitting it out cause it's a micra but I do want a good sound system to pump the tunes and I see it as an investment anyway because whatever audio equipment I buy now, I can move from car to car.

That sub seems good, enclosure, 1000w sub (i duno if more watts = better but thats a lot of watts) and built in amp, I could always get my mate to wire it all up for me, he done it for his car, You say it's not a big deal, I was worrying whether to trust him or not but if anyone can do it he definetely can.
