CD player to speakers (M-Audio AV42) wireless ?

Hi all

I have a CD player that id like to connect to my M-Audio AV42 speakers wireless if possible

the CD player has either phono out or 3.5mm out

the speakers are monitor speakers , so they have there own amplifier
they have a L/R phono IN and a simple 3.5mm AUX input

This is exactly the sort of thing that Bluetooth transmitter/receiver pairs were made for.

You'll lose a little quality going through the compression of basic BT, but if you go for something with the better codec (APTX HD) then it should be close to good analogue cable quality. The boxes will accept various connections. Stereo RCA (red and the white phono) from the back of the player is going to be better than 3.5mm if that's a headphone jack.

Have you had a look around at other APTX HD capable models to see if something comes as a pair?
 
I can't at the moment.

Just search Amazon for APTX HD Bluetooth transmitter receiver and have a look what comes up. Judge for yourself whether two of those you first found for £40 each is good value.

Edit: If quality isn't critical, have a look of standard BY TX/RX devices. Maybe evan look at something used.
