Hi all,

I'm fed up of my 300+ CD albums taking up shelf and storage space and want to pack them away and stick them in the loft. However, I want to rip the lot of them first, the problem is that Windows Media Player seems to take forever and likes to lock up and generally be a pile of crap.

I used to use Winamp for this but it seems to have got a bit bloated. What's the best app to rip CDs these days quickly and efficiently? Album art would be nice as I'd like to copy stuff to my SGS2 to listen to on the train.

Thanks! :)

I'm trying EAC at the moment, not that intuitive but it's managed to rip an opendisc CD (Grrr, so annoyed that I bought that CD and they try to make it difficult for you to copy to an MP3 player or whatever!!!!)

I'll give CDex a go as well. Thanks a tonne chaps! :)

Anything which has support for AccurateRip verification should be fine - as long as the verification comes back OK, you know you've got a perfect copy. Personally I use dBPoweramp CD Ripper.
