Bought a setup that arrived yesterday with no OS, so I installed windows 7.
Heres what happened:
It went fine, got to the end, rebooted, monitor wouldnt turn on i had no idea why i plugged it into the on board gfx, the other port on my 5830 nothing.
I eject the CD reboot and works straight away - thats kind of weird no?
Then after doing some stuff i used the mobo CD to install drivers, (forgot to mention CD drive makes areally weird noise when spinning and reading) so it made noise and the keyboard lights went off, keyboard didn't work.
Keyboard came back on, I stuck it out, it all finished fine and i rebooted.
Do you think I have a faulty Disk drive, damaged when being delivered? or maybe loose connections, mebe should have a poke inside and check the connections?
