So yeah, as title really. A CD seems to have become stuck in my drive and pressing the eject button dosen't make any difference.

If I restart it takes about 15 mins to boot into Leopard as it's trying to load the CD.

Tried tilting the MacBook but nothing.

Is it going to be an Applecare job?

Open the laptop, put the keyboard face down on the desk so the laptop screen hangs over the edge facing away from you, then lift it up, start it, holding down mouse button but keeping devide flat and upside down.... Used to kick out cd's that had got stuck :)

Holding down the mouse button (you need to do it from the time you turn it on, until the desktop) usually does the trick.

There have been reports that 2 bits of paper either side of the slot can loose it enough, otherwise it looks like a repair :(
