What is the best way to rip CDs to FLAC?

I use Foobar as my audio player and want to re-rip all my CDs to FLAC format.

I know Foobar can do it but is this the best way, there are other tools etc out there. I was just wondering if there is any quality difference and if so what is the best way to do it?

Cheers,

if you already have foobar and are used to using it, then carry on. it has accuraterip support (as does EAC) which should verify your rips match others which have been submitted online.

Basically anything with AccurateRip support should be fine. The only important factor is getting the data off the disc perfectly. As FLAC is lossless, no encoder should produce a deterioration in quality. 'Quality' settings only control the trade-off of file size and encoding time.
