CDkeys Paypal error - any ideas?

I'm trying to buy a game from Loaded (formally CDkeys), using Paypal as the payment method at checkout, and as soon as I try and pay I get the following error:
paypal gateway has rejected request. this express checkout session has expired. token value is no longer valid (#10411: This express checkout session has expired).

I have tried logging in again, clearing cookies, using a different browser - nothing works? Is this a Paypal issue or specific to the website?
I rang Paypal and they were useless, no surprise there.

Any ideas? Google just tells me, it's an issue with the development of the website - I know they've rebranded, but that seems like a bit of a stretch for a website that operates the same bar a new name/logo?

Check your PC's time and date are correct, it's unlikely to be the case as modern PC's tend to update them automatically but a friend kept getting SSL expired messages because of what turned out to be a dead cmos battery putting his clock out.

Yep, all correct mate :( thanks for the suggestion though :)
I've just tried it on my phone, and I get the same error. I wonder if they've borked something on the website?

Did you have Paypal linked to your CD-keys account already (to speed it up)

I wonder if the name change has messed that up
No payment details saved on file on the CDKeys account :(

If anyone fancies being a hero and buying the cheapest thing on CDKeys whilst logged into their account, and paying via Paypal, to see if this error occurs, I'd be majorly grateful  ;)

If you've cleared your caches etc then it sounds like attempting to use an expired key/cert/session which could be like someone is attempting to hard code it in a hack. It could also be a denial of service by breaking the site.

Certainly would avoid until they've investigated.

Ok you forced me to buy Condemned on there

Worked all fine for me though using PayPal.

Wow, what a legendary game choice! The first one is outstanding!

Thanks for that mate. I'm going to have to go back to the drawing board then lol, multiple browsers, incognito mode, caches cleared, and it wont even allow me to get to the pop up window allowing me to type my Paypal login details in, to even try and buy it  WTF is going on :P

You're welcome:D I've always wanted to play it and finally can on PC Got silent hill 2 enhanced edition set up today too

Looking at the error it seems it's related to a time out potentially when you are crating your checkout session.

Are you in the app or using the web?

I used the app but I don't have any billing agreement set up to streamline the payment process like mentioned at cdkeys checkout.

Was your PayPal saved to your cdkeys account?

When you tried it on your phone were you using the phone network or your wireless network? If you were using your wireless network, try turning off wifi and force it to use 4G/5G. Or else go to a friend's/Neighbour's house and use their computer to buy the game. If it doesn't work in your friends house then it's definitely a paypal/loaded issue.
