ok, so some friends of mine, not like von's friend. an ACTUAL friend of mine is off to vegas soon, and is wondering what sort of dress sense is expected at ceasars palace, dress like a yokel, dungarees, barefoot and a piece of corn stuck in his teeth or suit etc. any help appreciated. thanks!

dude, no-one cares. Seriously. There's people in tuxedo's and people in man-dresses a la homer simpson. That's if you can dodge all the pension grabbers, dressed in old trackies and big 'The King Lives' tee shirts. It's really not a big issue.

Makes no difference. I stayed there a few years ago and wore jeans and t-shirts. I was certainly not the scruffiest there.

if your mates taking protection, make sure he puts them securely in his suitcase so theyre not liable to fall out and cause him embarassment at the airport

They just want your money! There's no dress code at all, it's packed full of holidaymakers gawping at stuff.

Maybe if you're playing $10k-a-hand poker games against russian oil billionaires you *might* have to wear a tie.

true, I was there a couple of years ago... anything goes.

...however, we all went in suits. Quite a lot of the clubs, within the casinos, require smart shoes / shirts (or similar smart/dressy wear) too.

That's true, i believe the club in caesars palace had a big sign that said 'smart club wear only' outside when we were there last year..whatever that is though

generally Vegas club dress code is defined as "no trainers" , "no baggy jeans" , "no vests" and "no sportswear" , this is often how it is worded or just as referred to above
