Just some of the shots from our recent trip to CeBIT which I thought I'd share.

The PC-Z70 loooks great, though i do agree with what you say about the side mounted fans, ive found with my A70F, you do need high cfm fans to provide decent airflow, particularly to the gpu's

Mmmmm Lian Li cases. I wouldn't say the snail is instant love but I do like it for being so different to 'normal' cases.

The C50 looks like a bit of a brute tbh. Is that a full ATX case masquerading as HTPC by being horizontal?

The Z70 looks the business, and it's a shame that Lancool didn't adopt that design aesthetic rather than their new JH range. One question though.... where's the air intake on the case?

Any news on how much the PC-80N will retail for?

Probably around the same price as the current P80B, although looking at OCUK, it's gone up to over £400 when it was retailing for way less on release.

If you mean the Z70, it seems to be on the side. The top fans may also be acting as intake ones.

Gotta say, Lian Li have got to get with the times. They are way behind Corsair and Silverstone in terms of bringing real features internally.

And another issue with their cases (i've owned a few) is that the aluminium they use is very thin, so they are all far noisier than the above cases too. Some are nice lookign from the outside (the V1020 could the best looking case out now imo), but they are taking the **** lately with their pricing/features.

But then i'm really not a fan of alumium cases at all, total waste of time unless you frequent lans and don't like excerise (99% at lans i guess :P). In all other ways, aluminium is a drawback for a case.

Aluminium/lightweight is nice for watercooling. By the time you have a shedload of heavy radiators/waterblocks in there, then the water, you appreciate any weight saving when carrying it to the nearest sink for a strip down...

Aluminium looks way better than the 100s of generic steel cases on the market. The brushed aluminium finish cannot be match by anyone in my opinion. I do agree that prices are getting worse but I don't think I could get a different brand. I'm still waiting for the perfect Lian Li case though. Some of their better ones always have a couple of features missing that would otherwise have made them perfect.
