Celeron 2.53ghz vs Sempron 2800 @1.6ghz

Hi all

I can get either of these cpu/mobo combos for abour £60 give or take a £1 or 2. Which should i go for? They system will be used as a test server for my software developments.

Thats the better of the 2 you can stick in some older AMD64s if you ever wanted to upgrade

But hey if the Celly is LGA775, you could do the same with P4s or maybe even pentium d

It is LGA775!! I'm torn!

erm have a looky in MM a lot better than eithr of those can be had for 60-70 quid

I'd love to but my post count isn't high enough
