Celeron E1200 Work with 945G

What`s the make & model of the motherboard, just checked the Asus website and some boards required a later revision to work.

its a dell optiplex, looking at a download box but i dont want to use the pentium D as it consums to much power GX520 SFF to be precise
 
You might need to contact Dell, I think the 945 chipset was updated by some manufacturers around the launch of the Intel Core 2 duo which enabled them to run the new processors, earlier models could not.

Again I think the E1200 is based around the c2d spec.
