Celeron to i3?

Soon I will be buying a Intel Celeron G550 Dual Core Socket 1155 Sandy Bridge and a MSI H61M-P31 (G3) Socket 1155 I am a bit of a noob so Inn the future will I be able to upgrade to an i3 or i5 processor when I get the money? thanks

yeah

i3/i5/i7 should all work,you might be limited with the unlocked multi 'k' chips on that board in how much they would overclock

but non k chips will be fine

always flash to the latest motherboard bios,before you pull/change cpu's

Yes, that motherboard will work with any Intel socket 1155 CPU, Sandybridge or Ivybridge. it may however require a BIOS update to work with Ivybridge CPUs.
