Cellshock memory coming to OCUK

Has anyone already got this memory ? i have heard its a good clocker . glad to see that OCUK will be stocking it

Yeah, looks promising, the pc2-8000 kits are most reasonably priced I've seen. 5yr warranty as opposed to lifetime but these kits will be obsolete in that time and selling for £30 on the mm, no doubt. :cool:

LoL Dont think i have ever had memory that long. Anyway checked a couple of the other threads and seems to be getting good feedback.

A fairy well-established (since 1982) German company called MSC.

Their Cell Shock range differs from most other premium RAM by featuring 8-layer PCBs (from the usual 6).

It's had some hype of late (beginning on the German overclocking sites/forums) as it could be obtained more economically (in Germany at least) than the usual imported American/Asian RAM brands.

Go for the 6400 stuff, cheaper and the guy a few threads down got better ic's than the 8000.

I've just ordered the 8000CAS4. I heard here and at X-Treme that later editions of the 6400's were a big gamble on the IC's. For £45 odd extra, that gamble becomes a guarenteed win.
