Same ICs on both Ram (Micron D9GMH) which overclock really well, expect 500Mhz 4-4-4 with 2.2v (DDR1000) from both sets, but 8 layer PCB should be better than 6 layer PCB in terms of noise, so the Cell Shock gets my vote, considering its not much more expensive. I have the Crucial Anny and I love it too.

BUT, watch out for compatibility, Cell Shock SPD may not allow it to boot for the 1st time installed in a board that supplies only 1.8v vdimm.

Last but not least to consider, MSC has 5year warranty, Crucial offers life time.

Ballistix and Geil UL PC6400 are supposedly D9GMH ICs as well, but the difference in performance lies in each manufacturer's testing/binning procedure.

If you have to know, then Ballistix and Geil PC6400 (C4) are normal D9GMH (if it passes 4-4-4 at 800Mhz with 2.2v then it's good to go), whilst Anniversary stuff is binned as "handpicked" D9GMH (which can go higher given the same Cas or with less volts)

Cell Shock sticks have all performed well above average as well, so I suppose their testing is rigorous. Team is also a small scale manufacturer which focuses on enthusiast sector, which is why you see Pc6400 cas 3-3-3 stuff from them.

If your board doesn't have compatibility issue with 2.2v requirement, I say go for the Cell Shock, otherwise the Crucial Anny/Team. (they should be handpicked level)

Well im getting the ASUS P5B-Deluxe not sure about the 2.2 issues?

Does anyone know if the Cellshock Ram will boot straight of and not have any problems when i install it?
