Crucial Ballistix PC2 5300...this is my first set of DDR2 modules so I'm not really experienced with the different kinds but after some careful researching I decided they were the best for th money...and I'm very pleased.

Does 4,4,4,10 @ 900mhz on stock volts and so far I've had them up to 1138mhz 5,5,5,15 on 2.35v. I think they will even do 1200mhz...have yet to try.

You guys are talking about clocking the PC2-5300C3 to over 1000MHz? Do you think the PC2-5300C3 would clock better than the PC2-6400C4? I'm a bit dubious about buying the slower rated RAM as the faster stuff should at least be guaranteed to run at 400MHz FSB and I could RMA it if it doesn't.

Thanks.

The cellshock ram is great..but the Ballistix is cheaper and clocks about the same. THe ballistix may not be "guaranteed" to run 400FSB but I assure you, it does :p look in my sig...thats my 24/7 clock

What I meant to say was, is the Ballistix PC2-5300C3 a better clocker than the Ballistix PC2-6400C4? Even if they're both about the same, I think I would pay the extra 20 quid for the added peace of mind for a "guaranteed 400 FSB".

Anyone have experience with clocking the Ballistix PC2-6400?
